About HighTales venues
- We're open from 9am to 11pm from Monday to Saturday, and 9am to 10:30pm on Sundays.
- We serve food from 9am to 9pm Monday to Sunday.
- Most of our venues have onsite parking, but please check our individual site pages for more details.
- Some sites have charging points for electric vehicles, but please check our individual site pages for more details.
- Unfortunately, we do not allow any dog (apart from service dogs) in our venues.
- We love kids, toddlers, tweens and young-at-heart adults too, and we have dedicated play and games areas just for them, so feel free to bring all the family to HighTales!

- All our venues have free Wi-Fi for our lovely guests, and it's completely free!

- We know a loud environment can be stressful and overwhelming for our neurodivergent guests, so every Wednesday morning between 9:30am and 11:30 we turn the music down and create a calm space for those who like a little peace and quiet. You’ll find a pretty good deal on coffee and cake too!
Food & Drink

- Living the plant-based life? We see you. You’ll find an all-star lineup of delicious dishes for both vegans and vegetarians on our menu, from our Sweet Potato and Black Bean Quesadilla to our fully loaded Veggie Burger.
- We want everyone to enjoy our feel-good food, which is why we have a full non-gluten containing menu, plus plenty of choice for vegans and vegetarians.
- If you have a food allergy, please make it clear to a team member when you arrive at HighTales so they can help you with any questions about ordering, as our dish ingredients can vary slightly from site to site. In many cases, our chefs can customise dishes to cater for a food allergy or a food intolerance, so please just ask, and if you want to find out more about allergens, please contact us.
- We like to deliver the feel-good to ALL our guests, so we've partnered with GoodFoodTalks to make our HighTales menus easily accessible to visually impaired customers, and it couldn't be easier to use. Download the GoodFoodTalks app to your phone, use the handy search functions to find your nearest HighTales and view our accessible food and drinks menus in a range of font sizes and styles.
- Like to live the life al fresco? Us too! Grab a table and order from our main menu, and we’ll be right out with all your favourite HighTales dishes, or switch things up with our Garden Kitchen pop-up. It’s open weekday lunchtimes and all-day Sunday, serving up all sorts of deliciousness everything from Yorkie wraps to ice cream.
Orders & Payments
- Yes of course you can! We accept all major cards, except greeting cards, playing cards and wild cards.
- The last thing we want you to do is to miss a juicy part of the conversation because you were ordering your meal, which is why you can also order direct from your table with our amazing all-singing, all-dancing app. View our menus, book a table, look for your nearest HighTales and so much more!
Games, Activities & Events
- All our HighTales venues have dedicated indoor play areas for toddlers, kids and teens, filled with a range of fun activities to keep them entertained, like table football.
- Yes we do! All our venues have dedicated outdoor play areas for a little fun in the sunshine.
- We’ve got a jam-packed schedule of events going on both weekly, including our HighTunes live-music sessions, our All-Day Sunday Pub Quiz and our TinyTales playtime sessions for mums and little ones on Monday and Fridays. Every month, we also hold a choice of exciting events, including our Saturday Feel-Good Funnies comedy show, our Bandeoke nights and our Pop-Up Cinema Clubs for adults and kids.

- We love the opportunity to say a huge thank you to all the front-line workers up and down the country, so you can come in and use your Blue Light Discount card to save 15% on food 10am-4pm on Monday and Tuesday.
